Age 73, passed away on March 31, 2015 in Lansing, MI at the Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan. Born on April 10, 1941 in Pasadena, California to Clare and Betty McNaughton (both deceased). Bonnie retired after 30 years from the State of Michigan, Income Tax Division.

Bonnie is survived by her sisters Gail (Dan) McNamara, Katie (Dave) Fellows, 8 nieces and nephews, 13 great nieces and nephews. Bonnie will be missed by her dear friends Maurice Jones who was her personal cab driver for 25 years and her former coworker Jan Degeer.

Bonnie loved her nieces and nephews and it gave her great joy hearing about their families and their accomplishments and travels. She liked to knit special blankets, write her own cards, read Guideposts and watch sports, especially golf. She lived with the effects of polio most of her life. The best tribute to Bonnie would be to do an act of kindness toward those with a disability or contribute to those in need to honor her memory.

A Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Church in East Lansing on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at noon with Father Mark Inglot officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 10:00 am to noon at St. Thomas Aquinas. Inurnment will be at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mason.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan, P.O. Box 30480, Lansing, MI 48909 or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Thomas Aquinas Conference, 955 Alton Rd. East Lansing, MI 48823.

A very special thank you to the exceptional, caring and loving staff at the The Willows at East Lansing Legacy, Great Lakes Caring Hospice and the Sparrow Hospice House of Mid-Michigan.

The family is being served by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, East Lansing.
