Erin Duffey (58), formerly of Eaton Rapids, passed away May 15, 2017 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Duffey. She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Maxine Duffey, sisters Robin (Bill) Haggard, Colleen (Randy) Shoup; and brother Sean (Linda Rushing) Duffey, nieces and nephews; Sarah (Josh) Cardenas, Jason (Stacy) Haggard, Megan (Kevin Baldwin) Shoup, Molly (Rex) Van Pelt, Shannon (Tyler) Culp and a loving circle of extended family and friends. Erin Duffey (58), formerly of Eaton Rapids, passed away May 15, 2017 after a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Duffey. She is survived by her mother, Charlotte Maxine Duffey, sisters Robin (Bill) Haggard, Colleen (Randy) Shoup; and brother Sean (Linda Rushing) Duffey, nieces and nephews; Sarah (Josh) Cardenas, Jason (Stacy) Haggard, Megan (Kevin Baldwin) Shoup, Molly (Rex) Van Pelt, Shannon (Tyler) Culp and a loving circle of extended family and friends. She was a dedicated long-time member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints of East Lansing. She loved her church family and enjoyed many years of fellowship, support, worship and prayer. She worked as a librarian for the Eaton Rapids Public Library, Lansing Public Library, Lansing School District and Cooley Law Library. She loved baking, reading, crafts and caring for her cats. She had a passion for history and genealogy. She always had a positive outlook, a cheerful disposition, a strong faith, and an encouraging word for all. All who knew her will miss her loving nature, her kind heart, her gentle soul; and her warm hugs and kisses.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 18, 2017, with visitation one hour prior at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 431 East Saginaw, East Lansing, MI 48823.
