Terri (Terrell) Ann Weinlander of East Lansing, was born on March 23, 1954 in Detroit (Harper Woods) Michigan, and passed away on October 11, 2016 at the age of 62. Terri is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Torongo. Terri is survived by husband, Dan, daughter, Stacey, parents, Reba and Joe, and mother-in-law, Evie.
Terri was born in Harper Woods to Reba and Joseph Torongo on March 23rd, 1954. She married Daniel Weinlander August 23rd, 1975 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Grosse Pointe Woods. She graduated from Michigan State University with her B.A....

Terri is preceded in death by her brother, Joe Torongo. Terri is survived by husband, Dan, daughter, Stacey, parents, Reba and Joe, and mother-in-law, Evie.
Terri was born in Harper Woods to Reba and Joseph Torongo on March 23rd, 1954. She married Daniel Weinlander August 23rd, 1975 at St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Grosse Pointe Woods. She graduated from Michigan State University with her B.A. in Special Education, Visually Impaired, and M.A. in Early Childhood Education. She worked as a classroom teacher at Willow, Cumberland, Riddle, Mount Hope, and Michigan School for the Blind. She was also an adjunct professor at Michigan State University.
She was a faithful volunteer at Sparrow Hospital Auxiliary Gift Shop and a member of Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, Alpha Gamma chapter. She loved having conversations with friends and family, traveling, and teaching. She was always planning the next adventure in her life.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, October 15th at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 1730 E. Grand River Ave, East Lansing, MI, with visitation one hour prior. The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. Friday October 14th at the funeral home.
